Cindilee Ecker-Flagg, SERVING Niagara, Hamilton, Haldimand & Norfolk Counties,  Burlington/Oakville

I was born and raised in the Niagara Region and married to my high school sweetheart and soulmate and have been together for over 40 years. Together we have five grown children, two grandchildren, eleven nieces and nephews and six great nieces and nephews. There have been many special occasions of remembrance within these 40 years to celebrate and be a part of these milestones has been a joy, an honour and memorable.

I am of Indigenous ancestry of Anishinaabe, Maliseet and settler English and French. My professional background includes a BA in Sociology, active in adult post secondary education working as a educator and holistic practitioner. My career in holistic wellness and health expands over 30 years with various certifications in Usui Reiki, Aromatherapy, Reflexology, Spiritual Healing and Spiritual Life Coaching.  For 12 years have I worked several levels of leadership within the Indigenous not-for-profit sector from education, employment training, health and wellness and social services.

My inspiration to become an ordained officiant grew over the years, while working in the field of teaching, coaching, and mentoring, it felt right to embrace to study in 2019. I have officiated ceremonies; marriage, handfasting, naming, rite of passage, and celebration. Here at Cathy Davis and Company, as an officiant of a fantastic team I will help you create a ceremony that is personalized, that reflects you as a couple, the experience of ceremony will be memorable, unique, and inspiring full of love. Offering meaningful,
 spiritual, religious, romantic wedding ceremonies.

Couple Love
Working with Reverend Cindilee to officiate our wedding was an absolute honour and privilege. She was simply outstanding, and I can highly recommend her for anyone looking for a wedding officiant. From the moment we met, I knew that we were in good hands and that our wedding would align with our personal values. It was important to my now husband and I that we acknowledge the land where we live and where we were getting married. We also wanted to have a fairly simplistic and relatively short ceremony. Cindilee offered us wedding templates to work from as a guide and also offered us complete freedom and autonomy to customize our ceremony the way we wanted it to be. We had the opportunity to meet a few times with Cindilee before the ceremony, including a rehearsal the night before, and everything went so smoothly on the wedding day due to her leadership and guidance. Reverend Cindilee was super quick and responsive to any inquiries we had and made sure we felt very well prepared for our wedding. Following the wedding, Cindilee was also very quick to send us all of our wedding documentation required. Finally, Cindilee went over and above anything you could have asked for by facilitating a donation we wanted to make to Indigenous programming in lieu of wedding favors to our guests. She is such a wonderful human being and I feel so lucky to have had her facilitate our nuptials. I look forward to keeping in touch with her for years to come. With admiration and respect, Eryn & Brett

Cindilee is absolutely wonderful! she helped us with our vows, created the perfect ceremony that was completely unique to us and was kind and attentive every step of the way. Cindilee is professional, knowledgeable and passionate about helping couples
create a memorable ceremony you will cherish forever. 10/10! Terri
