Congratulations on your engagement! I'm Darka, a licensed wedding officiant serving the beautiful Niagara region. As well as London/Kitchener area.
After a rewarding 35-year career as a dental hygienist, I discovered a new passion for helping couples celebrate one of life's greatest joys - finding and committing to love.

I've always been drawn to connection, storytelling, and heartfelt moments - whether through my years in community theatre, exploring new places while travelling, or simply sharing stories with friends over a good cup of coffee or glass of wine. I love a great love story, and it's an honour to help couples tell theirs in a way that feels deeply personal and meaningful.

Whether your ceremony is large or small, spiritual or lighthearted, traditional or adventurous, I will work with you to create an experience that reflects you — your journey, your values, and your love.

When I'm not officiating weddings, you'll often find me gardening, snorkelling, scuba diving, or walking other people's dogs (I adore dogs, even though I don't have one myself!). I'm also a proud mom and grandmother, endlessly grateful to my children and grand children for filling my life with love, laughter, and inspiration.

 

Finding love again later in life has reminded me that it's never too late for joy, companionship, and new beginnings. I bring that same spirit of gratitude and celebration to every ceremony I perform.
