I’m in love with love!
A bit about me. I, along with by fiancé Jens, am a long-time resident of beautiful Niagara region.
This makes me central to the beautiful wedding venues of Niagara. However, I have performed weddings as distant as Caledon as well. I was entirely educated in the French school system and French colleges, as French is my first language. My parents, brothers and extended family are from Québec.

Jens and I enjoy walking on the piers in Port Dalhousie and up to the lighthouse. On our way, we see families walking and laughing together or couples in new love or old love, walking hand in hand or sitting on a bench next to the water, with that special smile or look in their eyes. It genuinely warms my heart to see people happy.
As well as being a wedding officiant, I am a speech therapy assistant working with elementary students in the French public language schools of Niagara and Halton regions. Both such rewarding roles! I am also a very proud mother of 3 grown bilingual children and two stepsons, and they amaze and inspire me always. Jens and I are also known as Opa and Mamie to our two beautiful grandchildren and this gives us so much enjoyment, and laughter! I enjoy being a hostess and love to cook wonderful healthy meals from scratch.
Being a wedding officiant is truly an honor and a privilege and I am so very grateful to be a part of this wonderful, dynamic team. Witnessing a couple’s love for one another is magical. And, I get to have a “font row seat”! Always arriving early enough at the venue to meet with the various vendors, I also have time to meet the guests of the bride and groom and sometimes hear some
funny anecdotes about the couple! If my couple is interested, I also like to write a little surprise message, sharing what I’ve learned about their love story during our meetings together and share it to them and their guests during the ceremony. This brings much joy and laughter and always creates a more personal and intimate ceremony. My two favorite moments during a wedding
ceremony are when the couple read their heartfelt written vows to one another and of course when I pronounce them husband and wife for the first time!
It would be an honor for me to celebrate your wedding ceremony and your love for one another, along with you and your loved ones. I’ll always be mindful about creating an unforgettable ceremony that is unique to you both.

Couples Love

We were so lucky to have Karolynn Lacroix as our officiant for our wedding. With plenty of time before our ceremony she reached out and worked with us to have the perfect ceremony prepared. She asked great question and made sure everything was in order before our big day. We had an outdoor ceremony where we unfortunately had some (torrential) rain, but lucky for us Karolynn was there to help us weather the storm and stick at the venue until it passed, and we ended up having the best wedding! Her calm and professional attitude was perfect on the occasion, and in a short amount of time she got to know my now wife and I and we felt very comfortable. She gave a beautiful ceremony and guided us through our
parts (which we had asked for) and everything couldn't have gone better. I would happily recommend Karolynn to anyone seeking an amazing officiant.​ 

 

Karolynn was a breath of fresh air for sure and helped the process go so smoothly and we wish we could give her the biggest hug to thank her. Our families absolutely adored her and want to thank her as well.  Karolynn truly is amazing at what she does, and I hope she never forgets that. Her energy is impeccable, and she is a beautiful soul to be around. She is so attentive and kind, I truly thank her for bringing her good energy. She was truly a God sent to marry us on that day. My sisters and friends may reach out to her to officiant their weddings too!

I got married in Oct 2022 and was so lucky to have Karolynn Lacroix through Cathy Davis and Company! She is fully bilingual in French and English, which wow’ed my Québec family who came down to Niagara for the wedding! Karolynn was amazing and there for us every step of the way. My husband and I just got married on June 24, 2023. We used Cathy Davis and Company, and we luckily landed Karolynn Lacroix as our officiant. She was a pleasure to work with, so much so that we had to extend our Zoom calls several times past the 30 min mark,
because the 3 of us hit it off so well. Karolynn is very professional, personable, and an enthusiastic individual who brings many years of experience to the table. On the day of, she had such a calming, natural demeanour and her soft spoken voice was one we, and all the guests could have listened to for hours.  Cathy Davis and Company was the organization included in our package to officiate our wedding at Konzelmann Estate Wineries on September 30th, 2023. We chose Karolynn as she is bilingual in French and English, which we felt would add a nice touch to the ceremony considering the Groom's side is French Canadian. Karolynn's bubbly personality and positive attitude put us at ease right from our first meeting. She is very organized and answered any questions we had through the process in a timely manner.
