I am a mother of 2 wonderful adult children, who loves celebrating life and love, and I am blessed to be a part of this amazing team, 'Cathy Davis and Company' that has created so much joy for me!

It is my passion to collaborate with you in designing a unique personal wedding tailored to your values, style and dreams, regardless of your religious or ethnic background. What I bring is being detail-oriented, kind, empathetic, compassionate, humorous, and an active listener who is genuinely caring.

I love seeing people happy, and enjoy music, board games, reading, writing and watching documentaries. I absolutely love travelling, especially cruises and vacationing in the Caribbean and Hawaii. I am passionate about spending time with family and friends, plus advocating for, and encouraging those who are hurting and vulnerable.

My professional background includes a Bachelor of Laws, a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, and I've been a Certified Relationship Coach since 2015, providing Couples’ Coaching and Pre-Marital Counselling. As an experienced Public Speaker in both church and non-church settings, I enjoy celebrating achievements both big and small. This has given me the opportunity to inspire and encourage couples in their unique life stories. I enjoy encouraging people during terminal illness, grief, and I am passionate about walking alongside families as a Life Celebrant, during Funerals/Celebration of Life.

Currently, I work with the Regional Municipality of Niagara, where I have supported individuals and families for 24 years as a Case Manager, and won the SAEO Award for Innovation and the SAEO Award for Leadership. My goal is to make a positive impact in our community, by passing on the grace I have received from others over the years.

My inspiration to become ordained has increased over the years, as I successfully walk alongside singles and couples as their Life Coach, mentor and confidant, in Relationship Coaching. I realized that I do not need to stop at teaching and empowering them; I might as well marry the unmarried too! This is why I became a Licensed Wedding Officiant and a Member of (OAPWO) Ontario Association of Professional Wedding Officiants. The great love I have for people started back in Uganda, where I was born in a very warm and caring family that accepted all people regardless of their faith or origin! There, it was all about “grace”, and this has carried my family through even after moving to Canada in 1986!

I would be so excited, and privileged, to work with you and make your wedding day fun and memorable to you, your family and friends! Whenever you’re ready, I am also available for Couples Coaching before and/or after your wedding, where I share my tips for a fulfilling, empowering relationship. You may have heard people say that the first year of marriage can be challenging. So to give you the best chance for success, I now offer all my couples a complimentary coaching session called, "Cracking the Code: Communication Secrets for Lasting Relationship Bliss" as a gift from me to you! Dear Ruth, we have had a few months to reflect and collect ourselves after a wild year last year!
