Paula Martin - Serving Niagara, Hamilton and Burlington

It’s my pleasure to create a safe, welcoming space for every client—whether I’m officiating a wedding ceremony or leading a celebration of life. My goal is always to ensure you feel supported, understood, and celebrated. I take the time to truly listen to your wishes and desires, and together we’ll craft something meaningful, magical, and memorable for the rest of your lives.

I’ve lived in the Niagara Region for most of my adult life, though I’m originally from Hamilton. My own love story is one of my favourite adventures: during the pandemic, when border closures separated me from my wonderful American boyfriend, he asked me to fly to Las Vegas so we could be married and he moved to Canada. When we were finally able to celebrate with our family and friends, our wedding reception became the party of the decade—and it was then that I knew I wanted to help other couples achieve the same happiness.

Today, my husband and I love travelling the world, with some of our favourite destinations including England, Ireland, Portugal, and Italy. Closer to home, we enjoy exploring Niagara’s wineries, local festivals, markets, concerts (especially if there’s an 80s cover band playing).and sharing charcuterie boards with family and friends—Before becoming a licensed officiant, I retired from a long and rewarding career in policing. I’ve spent more than 25 years volunteering with charities supported by the Niagara Regional Police Service, as well as Wellspring Niagara Cancer Support Foundation, with whom I formed a deep connection after facing stage-three cancer in 2008.

Public speaking has always been one of my greatest passions—it allows me to tell stories, bring people together, and connect with individuals in a truly meaningful way. Meeting new couples and hearing their stories is one of the joys of my job, and I absolutely love being the one to say, “I now pronounce you married!”
